The world was turned upside down by an unforeseen adversary – the global lockdown. While it put their master’s program on hold, it also provided an unexpected opportunity. Lina and Dan decided to seize the moment and put their shared vision into action. The lockdown allowed them to channel their energy and resources into crafting the blueprint for a disruptive eyewear brand, Pop Specs.
With Dan’s unrivaled industry knowledge and Lina’s financial savvy, they believed they had the perfect blend of expertise to make Pop Specs a reality. They envisioned a brand that would not only offer affordable eyewear but also redefine the eyewear shopping experience – making it quick, fun, and accessible to all.
Their vision for Pop Specs was simple yet transformative: they wanted to provide customers with a seamless, affordable, and enjoyable eyewear shopping experience. No more breaking the bank for quality glasses. No more long waits for prescription eyewear. And certainly no more dull and boring frames.
May 2021: The Pop Specs Revolution
After much planning, they finally launch their first kiosk in Trafford Centre in May 2020. Today, Pop Specs is not just an eyewear brand; it’s a revolution in the industry. Lina and Dan’s commitment to affordability, speed, and fun has made eyewear accessible to all. With a visit to nearby locations, you can have stylish, quality eyewear delivered just within 20 minutes. They’ve disrupted the industry by challenging the status quo, and the response has been overwhelmingly positive.
